Alimankada – Sri Lanka Elephant Conservation Summit 2026

Registration Does Not Guarantee Participation
Submitting a registration form does not guarantee participation. All registrations will be reviewed by an internal evaluation panel consisting of experts and representatives from the University of Peradeniya and the Organizing Committee.
Selection Process
Successful applicants will be notified by the Organizing Committee on or before 25 July 2026 and will receive their official invitation and entry pass details. Only applicants who receive official confirmation may attend.
Participant Capacity
A maximum of 300 external participants will be accommodated per day, with a total capacity of 600 participant slots across both days.
Day Allocation
Applicants registering for both days acknowledge that they may be allocated only one day depending on seat availability and selection decisions.
Selection Criteria
General public applications will be considered based on first-come, first-served, qualifications, responses regarding Sri Lankan elephant conservation, and seat availability. Active TEPF members and contributors to elephant conservation may receive additional consideration. University of Peradeniya student applications will be reviewed by the University's internal panel.
Entry Requirements
Participants must present their official invitation/entry pass together with their registration confirmation number at the entrance. Without official confirmation, entry will not be permitted.
Recording & Broadcasting
Except for the opening ceremony, recording, publishing, live streaming, or commercial use of speeches, presentations, panel discussions, or summit materials is prohibited without prior written permission.
Confidentiality
Participants shall respect the confidentiality of summit discussions and shall not misrepresent or commercially exploit any information shared.
Panel Discussions
Moderators may accept or reject questions, and panelists reserve the right not to answer any question.
Code of Conduct
Participants must behave respectfully, follow organizer instructions, and maintain a professional environment.
Personal Agendas
The summit shall not be used to promote personal, political, commercial, or unrelated organizational agendas.
Intellectual Property
All summit materials remain the intellectual property of their respective owners and may not be reproduced without permission.
Programme Changes
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend the programme, speakers, or schedule when necessary.
Media Coverage
Official photographers and media partners may photograph or record the event for promotional and archival purposes.
Removal from the Summit
Participants violating these terms or engaging in misconduct may be removed immediately without compensation.
Legal Action
Serious violations may result in legal action under the laws of Sri Lanka.
Acceptance
By registering, applicants confirm that the information provided is accurate and agree that selection decisions of the Organizing Committee and University review panel are final.
